View of the monumental doorway into the cylindrical cella wall (of opus incertum) of the so-called Temple Vesta, Tivoli. The doorway has a slight taper to the top. the vertical jambs are constructed of several pieces, some of which are quoined into the opus caementicium. Note the window-frame that is visible in the right side of the cella wall.
